Anyone that supports Palin for Nomination needs a reality check. She is not remotely qualified to be President and is Not the choice of all seniors . Just the ones that cant sort out the facts from fiction. She is unelectible and voting for her would be a lost vote for the republican party. Vote smart not stupid .

I hope you don't think you speak for all seniors because it is my personal hope that tacky Sarah does run because that will allow Obama to continue his correction of the Bush years. I would certainly vote Republican again sometime if someone would run that underswtands that the world changes and if you don't change with it, you are left in the dust.

I hear you, but respectfully disagree. I'm a moderate dem, but always read details on both sides. No doubt, Palin, is a bright and capable politician, who I beleive would shock many with strong leadership and common sense. However, my party and the media did a very good job at sabatoge. She was very threatening to them and had to be distroyed. At this point I don't think she could win. I would watch for her in 2016 and beyond. Those who underestimate her, do so at their peril. Mike Huckabee is a wise and compassionate man who has often shown insight and support for seniors. He is center-right, which aligns him with main-stream America. He is also THE person who would be most likely to unit us as much as possible. The fringe 10% on both right & left will never unit, but 80% have the ability to. We have seen several presidents reach 80% approval (JFK reached 83%). We are currently on a perilous course dictated by the left 20%. We need someone who can govern from the center; who the majority can get behind; someone who can restore the America we all love, with fiscal responsibility and policies that truely create jobs and growth. A recent poll showed that only 43% would vote to re-elect Obama (down from 52% in April). If this continues, and I beleive it more or less will, he is not re-electable. As I have done, we need to look beyond party and make the best choice for America, be it a compromise of sorts. BO will certainly get the dem nomination in 2012, so we must look to the other party, as it is our checks & balance. Sorry Horsun, but while I wouldn't vote for ANY Liberal Democrat, as in my view they represent the worst that the USA has to offer, I think it would be tantamount to conceding the 2012 election to Obama to even allow Palin to be on the GOP Primary Ticket, much less to grant her the nomination.

Sarah Palin, whom I like personally, failed to answer questions under scrutiny that any 8th Grader should have known the answers to. And worst of all, she QUIT HER JOB AS GOVERNOR OF ALASKA??????? That alone makes her completely unelectable. The folks who supported her in her gubernatorial campaign, only to see her quit mid-term, probably aren't too inclined to back her again. Sarah Palin decided she didn't want to run for reelection, and she quit halfway through her first term so she could write a book. You really trust her not to just quit halfway through her term as President? Why wouldn't she? It's an infinitely more difficult job, with inifinitely more scrutiny, which is why she claimed she was quitting because of the scrutiny. So go ahead, nominate her, and she'll fail miserably. I'm sure she cost McCain more votes than she helped him get.
