Last week, Rasmussen Reports polled Republicans on their favorite candidates for the 2012 presidential nomination and came up with Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and Tim Pawlenty in that order. This time, Rasmussen tested one-on-one match-ups and found Palin badly trailing both Huckabee and Romney.
Huckabee leads Palin 55 percent to 35 percent with 10 percent undecided and Romney beats her 52 percent to 37 percent with 11 percent undecided. The poll was conducted Oct. 15.

Your comment reminds me why the Midwest is called the "heartland". It's pretty obvious that the "Brainlands" are on the coasts.

Just what this nation needs in elected officials, a Baptist minister with extreme views on personal rights and a Mormon religious undergarment wearer. Well, at least both were only married once to the same women, unlike most of the other Republican "family values" crowd.

so can liberals ever think of anything useful - or do you just call people names, make fun of things you are incapable of understanding and make up psuedonyms in a weak attempt to belittle the real thinkers of this nation - i.e. the traditional American conservative you know - name calling hurts no one and belittles only the speaker

Huckabee, Romney, and Palin may appeal to the Republican's conservative base, but none are representative of the majority of Americans, nor will they capture any of the solid voting blocks which are key to winning.

Guess what, Bruce? Sarah isn't running for any public office. So, why should she give a flip about any polls? And why do desperate, silly "journalists" keep posting such nonsense?
