I have always been conservative but have voted for who I thought was the best for our country! not anymore! this is the first year in my life that I have donated to the GOP! God help us if we don't! Look whats happening in DC. Know body like things rammed up their &^*#

It is hardly momentum. It is not as if they fundraised 2-1 or something. They edged them out but the DNC still has more cash on hand. Call me when the Republicans are outraising them 2-1, then that would be a story. All this is worthless chatter by a someone who needed to fill a space in his column. Of course Republicans are motivated. They are in the political sh-thole but there's still plenty of people willing to contribute because they've been ginned up by a republican party who plays to their fears...... Trust me, when money is needed by Dems, it will be forthcoming. We aren't going to let you clowns run the show anytime soon.

This is good news considering they are getting the money from individuals instead of big business and unions,oh and the good old ACORN,that community group that provides a really great service of misusing tax payer dollars and also excellent at voter fraud,what a great organization Obama worked for but knew very little about conveniently for him(small potatoes was the word).Yes it is good that the citizens are saying a resounding NO to this current administration,NO to socialism,and NO to the corruption in this current regime,be careful of your steps, DONT TREAD ON ME!

This administration is a cancer on the moral and ethical fabric of this country. They have destroyed our economy with their strong arming of U.S. banks (Obama and his cronies ACORN) to lend money to high risk credit minorities. Republicans, since 2001, have proposed legislation that would impose regulations on the lending practices (more creditworthy recipients of home loans). These attempts were blocked (in particular) by Obama, Dodd, Frank, Raines, Waters, Weeks, all Democrats. These people are to blame!!!! Democrats also want to choke corporations with higher corporate taxes, these corporations will LEAVE this country and go to countries that have LOW CORPORATE RATES!! No jobs for this country!!! Blame the Demcorats!!!!

Jindal Signals Louisiana May Not Take Stimulus Money

(CBS)Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, a potential 2012 GOP presidential candidate, has suggested his state may not be interested in all of the roughly $4 billion allotted to it in the economic stimulus package to be signed by President Obama today.

"We'll have to review each program, each new dollar to make sure that we understand what are the conditions, what are the strings and see whether it's beneficial for Louisiana to use those dollars," Jindal said, according to CBS affiliate WWLTV.

Jindal is scheduled to give the response to the president’s not-exactly-a-state-of-the-union address next Tuesday.

Louisiana reportedly faces a possible $2 billion budget shortfall next year. It has been allocated $538,575,876 for infrastructure spending in the stimulus package, and the White House predicts the bill will create 50,000 jobs in the state.
