Forty-eight percent of Republicans think Obama doesn't love America, according a Public Policy Polling survey conducted Oct. 16-19.

Overall, voters do believe that Obama loves his country by 59 percent to 26 percent with 14 percent undecided. But for Republicans, only 27 percent say he does and 25 percent are undecided. Democrats have no doubt, at 87 percent to 9 percent, and independents believe he loves America by 57 percent to 25 percent with 18 percent undecided.

It is Republicans who do not love their country. Their behavior in the last 10 months tells all who watch: that they care more about being in power, than about the welfare of the country. They tell absurd lies about our President who was elected by a vast majority. They use the tactic of fear mongering to prey on the weak minded and elderly. They slander and libel. In short they do everything but: HELP CLEAN UP THE MESS THAT 8 YEARS OF GOP GREED LEFT BEHIND.

Who does Obama like less, Rush Limbaugh or Ahmadinejad? Sarah Palin or Hugo Chavez? Glen Beck or Kim Jong-il? Think about it and you will realize where Obama stands. Some will need to get very honest with themselves soon. The country may depend on you.

I think he loves some things in America, like ACORN and his right to spend taxpayers' money at a record pace. But some of the anti-American friends (Rev. Wright and czar Jones, for example) he has surrounded himself make me wonder. And if he agrees with the hateful thesis his wife wrote in college the answer would be NO.
He won a Nobel award for apologizing for America, but I've never heard him apologize for the damage he has done to or economy. So how should I vote on the question?

People are waking up to the fact that the Obama government is intent on "changing" our traditional way of life...into a socialist, cradle to grave nanny state....their political lives depend on it. The Globalists and global corporations, combined with our political hacks, both R & D, are behind the demise of Freedom...it hinders their power and profiteering. Damn...all of them in Washington.

Love America ?? He most certainly loves himself and seeing himself on TV all the time. He loves his teleprompter, his new air force one jet, his new white house residence, his radical associates, the adulation he recieves from our enemies, his unlimited spending from our bank account, he loves Sal Alinsky, Mao, Chavez and many other communist leaders who he would love to emulate while in office. He loves the fact that he won the election so that he can now fundamentally transform the greatest nation that the world has ever known into a banana republic of some kind.

I do not believe that Obama loves this country. I believe that he is nothing more than a career politician who loves the limelight, loves the power, and loves the glory. But love of country? Not so much. If he did love the country, he would not be disrespecting 50% of the people.

Here's a question for you--if Obama loves his country so much, why did he state in a campaign speech right before the election, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming America,"? Because Obama loves his vision of what this country SHOULD BE in his limited view, he doesn't love what this country is and has been. Anyone who listens to his speeches overseas and never hears him say one good thing about what America has done for the world can see that. Anyone who heard Michelle Obama say she was proud of her country for the first time when her husband was nominated can see that.
Obama doesn't love the America where people exercise free speech to disagree with him, or the America where you can work hard and take risks and go from being penniless to owning your own company, or the America where you are free to choose what to eat, or drink, or whether to purchase insurance, or the America that prides itself on free thought and free expression, or the America that encourages a paycheck over a handout, or the America that gets most of its new jobs from small businesses instead of the government.
The America Obama loves is an America that doesn't exist except for in his mind and the mind of liberals. That's why he wants to "transform" the exceptionalism that we've always had into a mediocre society that fits more easily into the global scheme. He wants us to be more like other countries instead of being proud of our uniqueness. He focuses on what he perceives as America's mistakes and takes no pride in our successes.
So, no, I don't think Obama loves the real America. But then again, I don't think most liberals do either. That's why they were so excited to vote for "change" last November.

Here is an AP news report from 2004, when Obama was running for Senator and wasn't hiding the fact that he was born in Kenya. Sometime in 2006, he suddenly decided he was born in Hawaii and up came the fake birth certificate saying he was eligible to be president. In the Obama vs. Keyes debates in Chicago in 2004, Keyes accusingly said to Obama "you aren't even American born", and Obama's reply was "so what, I'm running for the senate, not the US presidency".

Obama does not love the America we have with our Freedoms. He believes in Communism and while he is in office will do the best he can to change America that way ! It shows with everyone he chose to stand with him in his administration..they are progressives..radicals..and Maxists/Communists

Obama values life over $$$. He loves people and wants to see US taken care of and not at the expense of Big Bus. Capitalism does not have to be a bad word, but those behind the biggest corps who pander for bigger and bigger profit, give not a squat for humanity. There is a middle ground and I think that Obama has the common sense and decency to find it.
