President Obama Stumps For Creigh Deeds In Virginia
For the second time in three months, President Obama went to Virginia to campaign for Democrat Creigh Deeds, who is trailing Republican Bob McDonnell in the race to replace term-limited Gov. Tim Kaine. Obama reminded the crowd at Old Dominion University in Norfolk that he knows what it's like to be an underdog and nobody should count Deeds out.
"I don't believe in can't, I don't believe in giving up," said Obama, who won Virginia last year with 52 percent of the vote. "I am absolutely confident that we can, if you are willing to work in this last week, if you are willing to make your voice heard in this last week."
Some analysts say not even presidential star power can save Deeds at this point. A recent Washington Post poll puts him 11 points behind McDonnell, 44 to 55 percent.
But Deeds' camp insists their candidate can win if voter turnout is high, as it was in 2008. Obama brought new voters, young people and minorities to the polls, and if those same people turn out for Deeds he might be able to close the gap.

Just like health care they intend to control your power usage and put you in the dark. Nice job lefty, now we will be spending billions more to be further controlled by the long arm of the federal government. Ignorant bstrds! Smart grid per an energy company worker is designed to tax excessive use in the opinion of the feds. Say goodbye to cool in the Summer and warm in the winter, you won't be able to afford it! Combine the health care crap and the energy policies and we are doomed as a nation. The radical agenda of this white house and congress is a national security threat based on financial collapse.

Energy, what are we really going to do about it? The white house lied to coal country, he lied about natural gas, he even said we needed some oil exploration. These were all statements made when he was looking for votes but now he has no energy policy except to make producers pay to play. We need oil and gas and we will need refining capabilities for at least the next 25 years to keep America running. How can we do that when Obama not only broke his pledges but is now planning to tax our energy out of reach and put billions behind so called green energy that his billionaire friend George Sorors just invested one of his billions into. Doesn’t that give anyone pause or shouldn’t that at least make the headlines. Soros stands to profit big by new climate legislation or some thing like that? Why are things like this ignored by the media. It should be a full front page on the New York Times, but instead we hear nothing. Why!

it is obvious to those of us who are not deaf, dumb, and blind to this man's actions, that he does not want to stay at the White House IE: the OVAL OFFICE, and do any real work,
he likes playing president, giving lavish weekly party's, jet setting here there and back again, being in the limelight, playing basketball, golf, always going , going, going...
but not being president, making real decisions, staying on top of things, and meeting with generals. the only time he does anything, is when he gets called out on it for not doing something.
his attempting to control every area of the media, should if nothing else send up huge bright red flags of danger.
and his paranoia towards FOX NEWS says a lot. .he must have a lot to hide,. otherwise his fear would not be so irrational.
