I'd like to have more than "23% trust" in a health care system that is forced on us by the government with the force of law. I am skeptical, because the government did not protect me from Wall Street swindlers like Madoff even though we have a "Securities and Exchange Commission" of toothless watchdogs on the Federal payroll.
Adding layers of Federal bureaucrats between patients and care will not produce any assured benefits, but surely will add to costs and impede, not facilitate, care providers.
If you like the timeliness and efficiency with which the Feds have botched the flu vaccination campaign, how will you feel if you don't meet their criterion for treatment of a specific condition?
This is about "redistribution" of care along the notional lines in progressives' minds, not about increasing availability or reducing costs.

Trusting Obama more than Congress? That'd damning with faint praise.
Both have operated with non-existent transparency, both have lied about the health care's cost to taxpaying citizens and tried to deceive us about the trade-offs between benefits for a few vs. the damage it will do to to our working class, children and seniors. Their efforts to buy votes from the uninformed will run up a mammoth price tag to those of us who pay taxes and assume responsibility for our own health care.

I trust the President and Congress to exacerbate our nation's health delivery system's problems.

Most time when polls ask who voters trust more on issues - President Obama or congressional Republicans, Obama wins. But when Rasmussen Reports asked the question generically - do you trust Republicans or Democrats more - the Republicans came out on top for the first time in recent years.
The poll was conducted in two parts, Oct. 14-15 and Oct. 18-19 and has a 3 point margin of error.
The economy: Republicans 49 percent, Democrats 35 percent, undecided 16 percent.
National security and the war on terror: Republicans 54 percent, Democrats 31 percent, undecided 15 percent.
The war in Iraq: Republicans 50 percent, Democrats 31 percent, undecided 19 percent.
Immigration: Republicans 40 percent, Democrats 33 percent, undecided 27 percent.
Government ethics and corruption: Republicans 33 percent, Democrats 29 percent, undecided 38 percent.
Health care: Republicans 46 percent, Democrats 40 percent, undecided 14 percent.
Social Security: Republicans 45 percent, Democrats 37 percent, undecided 19 percent.
Education: Republicans 43 percent, Democrats 38 percent, undecided 18 percent.
Abortion: Republicans 47 percent, Democrats 35 percent, undecided 16 percent.
Taxes: Republicans 50 percent, Democrats 35 percent, undecided 15 percent.
