'Iron Chef' Comes to the White House
The White House is the setting for an episode of the popular Food Network game show "Iron Chef."
The program will feature celebrity chefs Bobby Flay, Mario Batali and Emeril Lagasse competing to create dishes with ingredients grown in the White House vegetable garden.
Michelle Obama will appear in the episode, which has already been recorded, and present the "secret ingredient" to the chefs. The first lady agreed to be on the show as part of her campaign to get Americans, particularly children, to reject fast food and follow a healthier diet, CNN reported.

White House executive chef Cristeta Comerford will also be featured. The judges include British chef Nigella Lawson, actress Jane Seymour and U.S. Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin.
The episode will air in January.

Sorry Food Network, won't be watching this one. Absolutely despise Obama and turn the TV or radio off when he has anything to say. Just words, no action. How about a show that talks about his support of our military. Oh, that's right, he doesn't have time to make a decision about that. He is too busy figuring out how to control our health care and other aspects of our lives. Meanwhile our troops are at risk. Oh well, hope he enjoys worrying about his agenda. By the time the 2012 election, he will be done!! Oh happy day!!

People who hate Obama think that Bush's administration was better than sliced bread. Obama hasn't done anything? Geez, he's only been in office 10 months and has actually done more than Bush did in 8 years.
Wait.. what did Bush do in his 8 years of stolen office? oh yeah.. he single handedly destroyed the US economy, put 30 million people out of work, made another 5 million homeless, murderered over 15,000 soldiers and civilians, bankrupted our children's future, made 400 million in oil profits, and was basically was on a taxpayer paid 8 year vacation! Dumb

Yes in those short 10 months...Obama has been very busy destroying what is left of America...He has added trillions to the budget deficit..He and Pelosi are pushing their "health care plan"...We are losing are civil librities and turning into socialist...Their is a reason Obama gets a long better with Hugo Chavez and Arabic leaders than he does democratic leaders...

The only thing this current administration has done is spend more money than any past administration has EVER done. Way to go Pres/ have no desire to watch a show. Would be nice if they would stop the rock star tour and possibly concern themselves with things like the troops and the economy. Can't believe he has so much time to play golf. I would not be able to sleep at night let alone play a leisure game of golf with the way the country continuing it's decline. Perhaps he should take this time to speak with his administration on how to improve the economy without spending more of our money or should I say wasting our money. Reading an article how welfare recipients and illegal immigrants can obtain a new cell phone with monthly minutes approx and hour a month makes me sick. I don't mind people rec'v money for food and shelter but cell phones and new. IT HAS TO STOP!!!!

I applaud this President, and think that anyone who is on his back after a mere 11 months in office is showing ignorance. How can you possibly fix this disaster in 11 months? Do any of you Ever stop to think what would have happened if Obama did'nt put money into the economy and bail out the banks? Your dollar would now be worthless..More disaster, almost an entire Nation out of work as with No money would be no jobs..

So this is what a Princeton edcuation gets you---a chance to present a vegetable to a chef, and have a competition cook-off in the White House.
When is Mrs. Obama going to stop listening to her social office, her chefs and whoever else gets her into these ridiculous situations. Too much TV, newspaper and magazine time, and too little substance. She is helping to demean the White House, and while her concerns for citizens health is respected, enough already. There must be at least 1,000 other things you can tackle that will bring more positive attention to you and your abilities. Leave the fluff; you don't need it and it's hurting you.

Unemployment now over 10.25% (or around 18% in terms of real unemployment), a real war brewing in Afghanistan where the WH sits and fondles itself wondering what the 'strategy' should be, the Iranians on the threshold of getting nukes and using them on the Israelis and shut down the world's oil supply, inflation ready to gut our economy in the next year as well as rising interest rates, and we're supposed to be intrigued by what Aunt Esther and Erkel have going in the WH kitchen with these sorry excuses for short order cooks? Ever hear of the old 'bread and circuses' approach used by the Romans and the Soviets? Well, that's now playing in America!!!!!!How's that 'Hope and Change' working out for ya!!!!

Its just so like her husband that Michelle Obama is going after more TV personalities. We don't need more of these people on TV, we need to see Oblabla and his wife working for the American people not hob nobbing. They don't seem to be running the country just appearing on TV. Leno, Letterman etc. Get to work and pay attention to our country not how many TV shows you can appear on!
