Corzine Heads to Caribbean to Recover From Defeat

New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine has retreated to the Caribbean island of St. Barts to recover from his loss to Republican challenger Chris Christie last week, the New York Post reported Monday. Corzine was seen on the beach in the company of his girlfriend, Sharon Elghanayan. The two arrived on a private plane Friday and are staying in a villa on Flamands Beach.

"After eating lunch at a posh restaurant, they took a stroll along the water, then stopped to catch some rays," the Post reports. "The bare-chested multimillionaire sank into a lounge chair with his girlfriend close by."
