People believed what they wanted to believe, and Obama told them want they wanted to hear. The media was corrupt and complicit, and a majority of Americans let talking heads do their thinking for them. I guess that makes it the voters fault as much as the media.

He has not closed gitmo. He has sent more American soldiers to Afg. He plans to send more. He stated over and over in the campaign that that is exactly what he planned to do...so where is the surprise? He also said he would get us out of Iraq. We are still there.
