Matt Drudge sidekick-turned-media-entrepreneur Andrew Breitbart has signed a deal to write a how-to book for "non-leftists" who want to better represent themselves in the media, the New York Observer reports. Breitbart, who owns the conservative Web sites Big Hollywood and Big Government, says he plans to offer a mixture of "memoirish" elements and perspective on how conservatives can challenge what he calls the "Democrat media complex."

"It's going to be a call to arms saying, 'Hey, look, if you want to take it back, you're gonna have to take it back yourself,' " he said. "These people create the perception that they're working their [butts] off . . . but they're incredibly lazy, and they've been sitting on major stories for years and years and years. They've been able to maintain a false narrative, and we're gonna say, 'Guess what, we get to have a coup d'état ourselves.' "

The book, to be called "Thinking Big," will be published by Grand Central, an imprint of Hatchette Books USA. Breitbart received an advance of over a half-million dollars.

The Big Government site gained attention earlier this year when it posted videos of an undercover operation to expose employees of ACORN. He plans to launch two additional sites called Big Journalism and Big Education.
