Pundit,, what do you consider "mainstream America"?

You see,, we here in the south live fine together. Here where I live the population is 35% minority & we have very few reported incidents of interracial problems. Just because we cling to traditional values based on our geography doesn't mean we're isolated from mainstream America. It's quite the opposite because we here in the south wrote a large part of the book on "mainstream traditions" while the rest of the country is busy separating themselves from tried & true measures of how to live together. I find it particularly funny outsiders that label us rednecks have either never experienced living in close proximity to others outside their own race & it's hilarious thinking of southern blacks as having anything in common with hard liner liberals that use them for their votes. Blacks could care less about the environment,, if you don't believe me watch them drive down the road throwing chicken bones out their window while their car is spewing black smoke in the air. If they paid for carbon expulsion our national debt would be solved. They're the biggest homophobes in the world & if a gay even attempted to make a pass at one he'd end up in a ditch somewhere. Most of them go to church 5 times a week & the women still wear their favorite outfit of lavender & a hat you could raise a family of squirrels in. The only thing going wrong down here is the change of attitude that outsiders feel so much the need to change our quiet way of living. We respect the difference in lifestyles & adhere to them accordingly. Shoving another's opinion down someone's throat doesn't end in solidarity,, it breeds resentment. The south is fine,, how about you & your liberal buddies worry about your area you consider "mainstream"......
