The truth is, is that the Liberal groups pressuring CNN to get rid of Lou Dobbs is the reason he resigned. Now just think about something for a minute, lets say, we all had a favorite program maybe a sitcom that 3/4 of us found funny, and l/4 of the population pressured that network to stop the program. Dont you think there is something wrong with this picture? I get this crap from moveon.org, they literally WANT TO SHUT UP ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH THEM, I call that trying to drown our rights to FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

"The Truth is".....of all the ways to begin talking about Lou Dobbs, that perhaps is the least convincing. No worries for 'The Lou'. He will be given one of the stable positions at Faux Spin Murdock Network, where lies, deceit, divisiveness, contempt, arrogance, gloom, doom, fear and incompetence works openly with the Republican Party and their 'New, Pure,Cleansed' agenda of "I hope Obama fails!"

I think you are EXACTLY correct. Lou Dobbs should be considered a "sitcom" and NOT a news show. THAT is why CNN let him go and why he should be featured on an "entertainment" show like Fox. He is NOT telling you news. He is telling you stories, like V or Vampire Diaries, it is NOT the truth. It is the opinion of a racist dullard.

Robert Smith and WJ, I believe you two are people who are against Freedom of Speech, the only speech you want to hear is lip service. Never mind the truth, because it doesn't enter your world. And Lou Dobbs is no racist. But he spoke the truth about the illegal immigrants coming to this country. I dont know if you have ever lived in a city riddled with them, I doubt you have because if you did you might feel different. Freedom of Speech, you voiced yours, Lou Dobbs can as well.

Actually that's not the situation at all. Dobbs was not a comedian but a self-described journalist. Folks weren't saying he was unfunny. Instead they accused him of not being truthful. Having an unwelcomed opinion won't get you kicked off teevee. Telling lies will.

I don't give the liberals that much credit. When they had the nerve to shoot a bullet into Lou Dobbs' home in an effort to scare him, I suspect that made him more resolved than ever to DO SOMETHING about the mess that this country finds itself in because of illegal immigration. I bet we haven't heard the last of Lou Dobbs. He is probably going to put all his efforts into running for office. I hope so. I'd like to see his name on the presidential ticket in 2012. He'll certainly get my vote and the vote of many other "Hispanics" like me that are disgusted by the tolerance towards illegal immigration. We're losing this country folks, and Lou Dobbs and Sheriff Arpaio of AZ are two of the few people that have the guts to help us save this country.

I am kind of in the middle where it concerns immigration, I feel that our nation is made up of immigrants to begin with, this became more evident in the last few decades of the 19th century as millions poured in to our harbors from Europe. And let us not forget what they faced here, there were no safety nets for them either, no unions, no social security, no welfare, etc. Just fat cat millionaires like JP Morgan ready to enslave them for pennies a day wages, working in unsafe often deadly environments! I still believe in what is inscribed on the statue of liberty, my question is this, do those who migrate here truly want to be a part of our nation overall? Or, are they just here to take what they can get for as long as they can? I would say in my opinion it is running 60-30, 60% being more yes than no. I live in Philadelphia and we have been seeing more and more illegal migrants over the last six years, mostly from Mexico, our local news papers profiled these new arrivals, and some are now business owners within these new Mexican enclaves. Yet, no one in the press has asked if they were here legally! Local residents have questioned the city about these areas, and still no answer. I am sure it is not just Hispanics that are here illegally, we are still in my opinion wide open, we haven't learned anything from the events of 9/11. I think our government should really crack down, and make these new arrivals go through the proper channels and become naturalized, it isn't fare that they are earning wages tax free, and in some places getting welfare and free medical coverage, so I agree with you on some issues!

I am sick to death of the Liberal attack on our sovereign Nation's rights, laws and most of all The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, especially the First, Second and Fourteenth amendments to this document, plus the attack on our Bill of Rights ! Liberals beware this decorated veteran of our armed services am fed up and close to listening literally to several of the quotes of Thomas Jefferson. You figure out which ones and then stay awake at night trying to figure out what and when what will happen !

These are the people that want to regulate bonuses of Executives….? And we are paying for those !! Michelle Obama's Staff
Written by Dr. Paul L. Williams
"In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much," she said. "See, that's why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service, "... Michelle Obama
No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn't perform any official duties. But this hasn't deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession. Just think, Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhowe had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary from her husband's salary.
Total Personal Staff members for other first ladies paid by taxpayers: Mamie Eisenhower : 1 paid for personally out of President's salary Jackie Kennedy: 1 Roseline Carter: 1 Barbara Bush: 1 Hilary Clinton: 3 Laura Bush: 1 Michele Obama: 22
How things have changed! If you're one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Ms Michelle are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by YOU, John Q. Public: Michele Obama's personal staff: 1.. $172,200 - Sher, Susan (Chief Of Staff) 2. $140,000 - Frye, Jocelyn C. (Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Policy And Projects For The First Lady) 3. $113,000 - Rogers, Desiree G. (Special Assistant to the President and White House Social Secretary for Mrs. Obama) 4. $102,000 - Johnston, Camille Y. (Special Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the First Lady) 5. $100,000 - Winter, Melissa E.. (Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady) 6. $90,000 - Medina , David S. (Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady) 7. $84,000 - Lel yveld, Catherine M. (Director and Press Secretary to the First Lady) 8. $75,000 - Starkey, Frances M. (Director of Scheduling and Advance for the First Lady) 9. $70,000 - Sanders, Trooper (Deputy Director of Policy and Projects for the First Lady) 10. $65,000 - Burnough, Erinn J. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary) 11. $64,000 - Reinstein, Joseph B. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary) 12. $62,000 - Goodman, Jennifer R. (Deputy Director of Scheduling and Events Coordinator For The First Lady) 13. $60,000 - Fitts, Alan O. (Deputy Director of Advance and Trip Director for the First Lady) 14. $57,500 - Lewis, Dana M. (Special Assistant and Personal Aide to the First Lady) 15. $52,500 - Mustaphi, Semonti M. (Associate Director and Deputy Press Secretary To The First Lady) 16. $50,000 - Jarvis, Kristen E. (Special Assistant for Scheduling and Traveling Aide To The First Lady) 17. $45,000 - Lechtenberg, Tyler A. (Associate Director of Correspondence For The First Lady) 18. $43,000 - Tubman, Samanth a (Deputy Associate Director, Social Office) 19. $40,000 - Boswell, Joseph J. (Executive Assistant to the Chief Of Staff to the First Lady) 20. $36,000 - Armbruster, Sally M. (Staff Assistant to the Social Secretary) 21. $35,000 - Bookey, Natalie (Staff Assistant) 22. $35,000 - Jackson, Deilia A. (Deputy Associate Director of Correspondence for the First Lady) (total = $1,591,200 in annual salaries)
There has NEVER been anyone in the White House at any time who has created such an army of staffers whose sole duties are the facilitation of the First Lady's social life. One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense.
Note: This does not include makeup artist Ingrid Grimes-Miles, 49, and "First Hairstylist" Johnny Wright, 31, both of whom traveled aboard Air Force One to Europe .
Yes, I know, The Canadian Free Press had to publish this perhaps because America no longer has a free press and the USA media is too scared that they might be considered racist or suffer at the hands of Obama. Sorry America !

According to Anita McBride, Laura Bush's former Chief of Staff, Mrs. Bush had between 24 and 26 staffers working for her by the end of her husband's second term in office. The 2008 White House Office Staff List, issued during the final year of Pres. G. W. Bush's tenure, includes 16 different staffers with the words "First Lady" in their position titles - exactly the same number as that list for Michelle Obama in 2009. If all staffers listed with "Social Secretary" in their titles are included as part of the First Lady's retinue (as was done with the Michelle Obama example cited in a scam email that is floating around)then Mrs. Bush had at least 18 people working for her in 2008 (not including any of the various personnel listed only as "Staff Assistant", some of whom may also have worked for her directly or indirectly. Lady Bird Johnson had a staff of 30 according to Stacy Cordery, a history professor at Montmouth College who studies first ladies.

Right, left, conservatives and liberals ... all labels that people tend to affix to others like a blanket. The reality is very wealthy and powerful people created a system of economics that benefit a small percentage at the top. Those at the bottom get free crumbs and those in the middle support both the top & the bottom. The top loves socialism in the form of corporate welfare and special tax clauses and at the bottom low or no income housing, food and health care.
People want to blame the current president or the one just prior. The reality they are functions of the system.
Right now people are distracted with rhetoric and the oil & gas industry is quietly putting the screws to all of the working class people, right along with the banking & financial entities.
Conservatives, liberals, left and right should stop scrapping over the scraps and go after the real culprits. As for the tea party people ... how about an oil and dollar party instead.
President Obama has learned what Bush learned. He is better equipped to deal with it, but it is a what it is.
