Obama Grants Fox News Brief One-On-One Interview

I suspect that the primary topic China will bring up with Obama is the declining value of the U.S. dollar. As long as China pegs the value of its currency to the U.S. dollar, it will suffer the same increases in cost of imported oil that will hit hard against Americans. China now owns $2.5 billion or more in U.S. treasury notes and is a major source of funds to cover Obama's deficit spending. As the dollar drops in value, so does the value of the bonds.

If Obama expects China to keep contributing to cover his reckless spending, he'll have to promise them something-- at additional expense to us taxpayers.

Topics like human rights, freedom of religion or speech or threats posed by North Korea will be pushed aside.

Hopefully, FOX News will raise these topics. None of the left-wing press will dare to do so.

This proves Team Obama lost the war with FoxNews. They finally discovered they can get much further working WITH Fox than against them. More people watch FoxNews than any other Cable news network by far. I'm surprised Obama ever tried to fight with them, given the huge number of independents who watch only Fox.

You almost have to feel sorry for Pundit. To pour the amount of time and energy he does into obsessing over Fox News just doesn't make sense.

See, I'm not a big fan of MSNBC. I think they're the lefty equivalent of Fox News. But instead of spending hour after hour running down negative information on them and posting endlessly about them and compiling polling data that suggests this, that or the other thing about them, you know what I do? I actually watch them from time to time.

As a Conservative I can accept that there are liberals in the world. I think they're kinda funny when they get all high and mighty and then do the exact same thing they accuse those on the right of doing, but I can accept that. I'm not afraid of them. Their ideas don't frighten me. They're just different, and I think, wrong. Which works out just fine. Cuz if I'm right (and I am) that means someone's gotta be wrong. And that's what liberals are for.

So they can have MSNBC and Air America and the NYT and PBS and Democracy Now! and all that stuff and I don't get excited about it or feel the need to hack away at it every time someone mentions it. In fact, for me, I'd rather watch that stuff because if all I'm exposed to is the hate-filled spewing of folks like Pundit, I don't get the real depth of liberalism. Plus, particularly in the case of Democracy Now!, I'd miss some really funny stuff.

And even if they did bother me, I don't think I'd go about letting the world know they're getting my goat by loading up my macro-shooter and firing off a couple dozen rounds every time they were mentioned. Because that's pretty much like admitting you aren't too sure of the stuff you claim to support.

Regarding the 650,000 jobs created...didn't they just come back on their recovery.org website and admit that they overstated this number and didn't one of those congressional committees in charge of that stimulus just announce that the 650,000 was way overstated....I know I read that some where...wait here it is...



WASHINGTON (AP) - An early progress report on President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan overstates by thousands the number of jobs created or saved through the stimulus program, a mistake that White House officials promise will be corrected in future reports.
The government's first accounting of jobs tied to the $787 billion stimulus program claimed more than 30,000 positions paid for with recovery money. But that figure is overstated by least 5,000 jobs, according to an Associated Press review of a sample of stimulus contracts.

The AP review found some counts were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of jobs; some jobs credited to the stimulus program were counted two and sometimes more than four times; and other jobs were credited to stimulus spending when none was produced.

For example:

—A company working with the Federal Communications Commission reported that stimulus money paid for 4,231 jobs, when about 1,000 were produced.

—A Georgia community college reported creating 280 jobs with recovery money, but none was created from stimulus spending.

—A Florida child care center said its stimulus money saved 129 jobs but used the money on raises for existing employees.

The White House says it is aware there are problems. In an interview, Ed DeSeve, an Obama adviser helping to oversee the stimulus program, said agencies have been working with businesses that received the money to correct mistakes. Other errors discovered by the public also will be corrected, he said.

"If there's an error that was made, let's get it fixed," DeSeve said.

Glenda, the only people getting paid to post here are the folks advertising knock off purses, shoes and jeans. And those are folks are the target of this particular rule coming 12/1. Pundit, for some reason, thinks that this ruling has something to do with paid political operatives posting here under the guise of being regular members or some such.

Of course, he can't prove that, but that's not stopping him from making an ass of himself by repeating it. Actually I think it's just wishful thinking on his part that causes him to fantasize about this. He thinks he's such a devastating debater that ONLY a paid professional operative could possibly take him on. Of course, they'd lose, because he's "Pundit!"
