Lou Dobbs Considering Presidential Run, Says Wife Will Make Final Call
Lou Dobbs told Washington's WTOP Monday morning that he is not ruling out a presidential run, and, according to Politico's Glenn Thrush, that he will leave the final decision up to his wife. Asked by an anchor if rumors about his presidential ambitions were crazy talk, Dobbs repsonded, "What's so crazy about that?""For the first time I'm actually listening to [people who want him to run for office], " Dobbs said. "I don't think I have the nature for it . . . But we've got to do something for this country." He said a run for president was "one of the conversations we're having" and that he would receive "the best advice" about whether it was a good idea.
Dobbs recently left his position as an opinion anchor at CNN to pursue an activist role in politics.

how typical - disagree with the great john black and you are either a racist or worthy of a sexual insult he and many others on the left sounds intimately familiar with. If only Lou could be like Geithner and not pay taxes, like Van Jones and be not just a self-avowed Marxist but also a truther, or a former back bencher in the IL and US Senates contributing nary a bill.

The time has come for the US to have a test of intelligence for the office of President. Bush Jr, Reagan were bad enough, but Dobbs? Just because he can read a teleprompter doesn't make him worthy of being President. The man is a racist fool who has no clue.

can't think of a single talking head or columnist, regardless of ideology, that I want to see sitting as president, governor, senator, or congressman. Why would this class of millionaire representatives be better than the current one, other than not being the current one? Best candidacy of the decade so far is Hoffman in NY, a regular guy who damn near won a seat in Congress. If career politicians are a bad thing, how are career politician-analyzers better? More importantly, would they want the pay cut?
