americans dissaprove of obama's policies period

We need our government to:
pay off the national debt.
stop deficit spending.
put the dollar back on the gold standard.
then they can make whatever reforms their constituents wants and need within the above confines.
Congress earns six figure plus full benefits while wrecking our economy and legislating everything for us while exempting themselves...WHY?
is this okay with the American people? we can take back the power from Congress by voting out all incumbents next election. then the new folks will get our government financial house in order and represent us (and not their own interests) or they'll be voted out also...simple!

This bill needs to just STOP and start over!!! WHAT A FRICKEN MESS!!!!

The Democrats really could not care less what the American people want from their Government! They will pay a heavy price for their conceit and contempt.

Sufficient health care coverage coming to the USA? Don't hold your breath, tax-paying American citizens. Our current president may look good in a pressed suit, shaking hands and showing his oh-so-polished teeth, but next to nothing is happening within the walls of our White House. Not just the war we virtually started, but when it comes to a health care plan. And you've got to realize that many other nations have had such things in use for many decades. Aren't we slipping just a bit?

It looks like Independents and conservative Democrats are starting to see the peril in the radical agenda forcing it's way through our congress. I hope they keep paying attention because we the people need them with us.

It does not surprise me at all that a majority of Americans disapprove of Obabma's handling of health care reform simply because his handling has been such a moving target. It doesn't even matter if you are for or against any proposed initiative because it is hard to get behind the President when he keeps speaking in vauge terms and changing his mind.

What the public is reacting to the the coup d'etat style of this administration. Since when is the will of the people ignored in total?

I note that all the above comments are against Obama and the insane health plan being pushed by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Looks the anti-Obama care percentage may very well be much higher than the article suggests. Democrats keep saying Americans have a "right" to health care. If they ever read the Bill of Rights,they would know that no such "right" is listed. The Constitution guarantees the right of pursuit of happiness, implying that the playing field should be level for everyone, to pursue the things they need, i.e. get out and work for it. "Work," however, is an obscene four-letter word.
