Chaos Theory - Twice the Work For Half the Pay

A slightly humerous depiction that bears resemblance to the Senate beating the deadline so that the President can be the hero. The metaphor breaks down two ways, however. The elves' work is supposed to be transparent and participatory. The Senate under Henry Reid has been anything but. The other breakdown is that everyone wants what the elves have made for them; not so the American People.

I wonder WHO is going to pay for health care for ALL? since Congress doesn't collect as much as it spends?

I wonder why we are paying Congress six figures with full benefits while they wreck the economy and legislate everything for us while they exempt themselves?

There was a quote on the AOL home page, saying "How to be more happier during the holidays ... spend less" I think that is what we all should do. Can't please everyone so give the gifts to the family only.

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".
All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.
As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.
The second test average was a D!
No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
The scores never increased as bickering,
blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

The poor underpaid doctors! Wow! Next we will hear the insurance companies, drug companies, and their sales force don't make enough to keep their products on the shelf. Just how many millions is enough? Old John D, once answered the question, "Just a little more!" Their little more darn near bankrupted the country. The wealthy think they deserve to make the poor poorer. After all without them the poor wouldn't be able to serve for minimum wages. Health care for the least of these costs much less than keeping up with the demands of runaway premiums, lawyer fees, drug prices and the demands of their wealthy owners. Limit those costs and health care costs will come down dramatically. Pass new legislation that requires a universal claim form for all companies and providers with one information retrieval system and we can close down 90 percent of the billing departments in health care and save billions more. So don't tell us how much it costs until the offsetting savings have a chance to be calculated. Just because it comes out of a state or private pocket does not mean we are not paying for emergency room care for the poor.

so what republicans are saying is that neoclowns are so lazy and shiftless that if you give them anyhting they'll quit work and beg/demand more.
we knew that already.
