The National Portrait Gallery in London has unveiled the first-ever double portrait of Princes William and Harry, The Sun reports. The artwork was painted over six months in five sittings by artist Nicky Philipps (pictured).

The Guardian reports that the brothers, now 27 and 25, are captured in casual conversation but dressed in formal Household Cavalry parade uniforms -- as if about to take part in a troop ceremony for their grandmother the queen's birthday celebration in June 2008.
