President Obama spoke at Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Va., last week, where he addressed about 30 sixth-graders. In a White House video from the event, Obama is shown flanked by two very visible teleprompters, at which he glances throughout the speech. Several conservative blogs posted the video along with snide comments about the president's inability to speak off-the-cuff.
But according to a photo analysis and sources quoted by Sphere, the video is actually from a later part of the event, when Obama gave "closing remarks" to journalists. There are no children visible in the video on question. A different White House video shows the part of the event when Obama was speaking to the children.
