Well she made her judgement based on the constituion. The problem with that election is that Al Gore did not win his home state. If Gore had won his home state he would have had more electroil votes needed, and counting Florida votes would not have been required.

Souter also voted in the majority in Kelo V New London the supreme court decision which said that eminent domain can be used to seize your property for a major corporation (in this case pfizer) should they have a use that may be more profitable. I am not exactly a Bill Clinton fan but his lie was about an affair that was no one's business but his, Hilary and Paula's. George W Bush was elected despite three felony convictions... all for DUI. Clinton's lie endangered no one... Bush's driving endangered everyone on the road. Ultimately, as someone earlier remarked its not about gender its about character and given the recent supreme court decision only dollars will matter; kiss character good bye. I hate to be negative but 1984 is here, the corporations now own the politicians (pretty much all of them) and the court. We do still have one option that has not been taken away yet. That is the vote. Stop voting Repu and Demo. Voting a party that truly reflects your values will send a powerful message to the corporate politicians, at least until they suspend elections. VOTE
