Hodes Can't Gain Ground on Ayotte in New Hampshire Senate Race

New Hampshire's Republican Attorney General Kelly Ayotte continues to be the strongest GOP candidate against Democratic Rep. Paul Hodes, leading him 41 percent to 33 percent with 25 percent undecided, according to a WMUR/University of New Hampshire Granite State poll conducted Jan. 27 - Feb. 3. The margin of error is 4.4 points.
That's about the same margin Ayotte has enjoyed since October.
Hodes leads the three other GOP hopefuls.
He's ahead of lawyer Ovide Lamontagne 38 percent to 29 percent with 25 percent undecided.
He leads businessman William Binnie 34 percent to 30 percent with 33 percent undecided.
He leads businessman Jim Bender 36 percent to 27 percent with 35 percent undecided.
The results are about the same as a Daily Kos/Research 2000 poll conducted Feb. 1-3.
