Two top Army and Air Force generals remain deeply concerned about the prospect of gays serving openly in the Armed Forces and the abandonment of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. It makes utter nonsense to be against 'don't ask don't tell', on the basis of 'unit cohesion' issues of boys going after boys aboard ships, and to then turn around and allow women onboard submarines to serve with men... Isn't the issue of 'unit cohesion' being threatened to an even greater extent aboard a submarine with girls and boys going after each other while being aboard a vessel that will be underwater months at a time? The military's logic is sorely absent with regard to this issue. Don't ask don't tell needs to be repealed, once and for all.
