When a reporter asked what the Rangel allegations say about her 2006 promise to have "the most ethical and honest Congress in history," she interjected, "And we are."
I wonder what color the sky is on her planet - seriously. We have a member of Congress who stashed $80K in a refigerator and forgot to claim it on his taxes, and more of the like. This is the most honest Congress in history? Are you kidding me? Terms limits will solve this kind of bafoonery. We need citizen lawmakers that are connected to working men and women - enough of the pampered millionaire's club in Congress. How many millionaires do you know who relate to your needs? Almost all of the "esteemed members" of Congress are both lawyers and millionaires. Most of them didn't arrive as millionaires. This is how the sacrafice of public service works? Just imagine the stress of the public service duties while collecting all that cash. How on earth do they manage to do it all? It is obviously time for term limits. It can't be worse than this crowd in DC now. Red or Blue - regardless of their party affiliation - they certainly don't represent you! Time to take out the trash in November ....................
Nancy should be checked out by the same commitee if she thinks what Rangel has done is correct. Could be she has transgressed even more so with her attitude.
