Former California Republican Rep.
Tom Campbell has moved into a statistical tie with Democratic Sen.
Barbara Boxer in her bid to win a fourth term, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll conducted March 11.
Boxer leads Campbell by 43 percent to 41 percent with 6 percent preferring some other candidate and 10 percent undecided. The margin of error is 4.5 points. Last month, Boxer's margin was 45 percent to 41 percent.

Chuck DeVore by 46 percent to 40 percent, one point more than a month ago. Four percent prefer some other candidate and 9 percent are undecided.
While Boxer's support against all the Republicans falls short of the 50 percent mark that incumbents like to be at, so does her favorability rating. Forty-eight percent regard her favorably and 45 percent unfavorably. In terms of voters who have the strongest opinions, 32 percent see her very unfavorably while 19 percent see her very favorably.
