The bottom looks like it's falling out for Democratic Sen.
Blanche Lincoln's bid for re-election in Arkansas with a new poll showing her posting her lowest numbers yet in match-ups with five Republican hopefuls. Her challenger for the Democratic nomination, Lt. Gov.
Bill Halter, doesn't do much better.
Lincoln's support ranges from 29 percent to 31 percent against all the GOP candidates with the biggest deficit being a contest with Rep.
John Boozman, who leads her 57 percent to 29 percent with 9 percent preferring another choice and 5 percent undecided, according to a
Rasmussen Reports poll conducted April 26.
State Sen.
Kim Hendren, businessman
Curtis Coleman, state Sen.
Gilbert Baker and former state Sen.
Jim Holt all are above 50 percent against her.
Halter's support when matched against the Republican field ranges from 31 percent to 37 percent. All of the Republicans except for Coleman hold double-digit leads over him.

Our New Approach to Comments
In an effort to encourage the same level of civil dialogue among Politics Daily’s readers that we expect of our writers –
a “civilogue,” to use the term coined by PD’s Jeffrey Weiss – we are requiring commenters to use their AOL or AIM screen names to submit a comment, and we are reading all comments before publishing them. Personal attacks (on writers, other readers, Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush, or anyone at all) and comments that are not productive additions to the conversation will not be published, period, to make room for a discussion among those with ideas to kick around.
