In California, Jerry Brown has no serious opposition in the primary, despite having been away from the game even longer than Branstad. Brown served two terms in Sacramento as California's 34th governor from 1975-1983. Many voters in the Golden State have little recollection of Brown and have never even heard of his namesake, two-term Gov. Edmund G. "Pat" Brown. Some of those who do know Brown's pedigree will get the idea that, at 72, he is no longer the man with fresh ideas. Like Branstand, Brown has an answer for that:I would certainly vote as a registered independant and swin toward (TEA PARTY MEMBERS) as a way to get all incumbents out there are probably some good ones like in Arizona that are trying to represent the taxpayers however they seem to be outnumbered by the liberal gangs of non taxpayers useing school children and illegals that pay no taxes at all to put on demonstrations and what have you in order to start riots and whatever they can to obstruct justice its kind of like a controlled anarchists running everything.

But The president now has to take the blame regardless if it is Obama or McCain or any one else that became president. So give blame where it started.

Any of them that continue spending the way it's been going on for the last few years should be kicked out. But I do blame the Dems for spending way to much this year, especially when the country is broke.

Even more pressing is the question of the status of "anchor babies" born to illegal immigrants in this country. I am all for legal immigration, as I think this is very much the fiber and strength of this country. However, both the Republicans and Democrats have dodged the question of how to handle "illegal" immigration, and the related issues for way too long. I have heard most of the hackneyed, partisan arguments for "legalizing" the status of these illegal aliens, and truly believe that in the final analysis, neither the Republicans, or the Democrats are willing to give up the potential votes of this large and growing "illegal population" to do the correct thing for America. Many of our domestic problems can be directly, or indirectly traced to the growing number of people in this country illegally. There is precident for mass deportation of illegal aliens from this country, and I think that this Administration, and this Congress should follow this precident to deport all illegal aliens, and protect America for all Americans. If we as a Nation have lost the will protect our Country from this illegal invasion, we will lose it from within. There are many ways to accomodate migrant workers, foreign students and their families, but "backdoor" citizenship is not one of them. We need innovative leadership. Politics as usual at both the RNC and the DNC needs to change starting now.
June 08 2010 at 4:11 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyToday I do believe that the people of this great nation willstart the process of reigning in a government that does not speak for we the people. We have had it with the bail outs, illegal immigration, and blatant corruption. We the people want our constutution enforced and it's obvious the crown in power, just doesn't get it. We are fed up with a health care program that is nothing more than another welfre program and truly, we are all tapped out. America will become another Europe if we do not stop this insanity. You can't get out of debt by taking on more debt.
