But it's something that we're in discussions with BP right now."As the Louisiana fishermen and shrimpers receive their money from BP for lost wages, is the IRS going to collect taxes from these folks. I understand they do not have income tax records because their business has been cash only for generations. I pay my fair share. They should too.

We have been the ones yelling and screaming at them. Everything I've read or watched from BP, always indicated they were accepting full responsibility.
So now that we are confident that they will live up to their legal obligations, where do we go from here? Nothing new on that front, like how do we stop the leak? I hope tomorrow's speech talks about this. I will be very disappointed if he goes into promoting the need for energy legislation and making this tragedy a political forum.
