Not on Wednesday.
Because surely, there's a white sand beach somewhere in the world that doesn't look like it was vomited on by Big Oil.
the excuse that they're not using the national guard is because the federal govt won't help with funding and all those states are OUT OF MONEY after 2 back to back major hurricanes. who writes these articles anyway? don't they do research?
June 26 2010 at 2:48 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySaw a satellite photo of the spill on TV this morning. It's huge! And it's from ONE well with a bore diameter of about 20 inches. Only a freaking FOOL and or republican would be pushing for more and continued drilling at this point. The vaunted "fix it" methods have proven to be a complete failure so far and you can pray all you want to but this leak isn't going to stop by divine intervention.
June 25 2010 at 1:17 PM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyThis is just another example of man's arrogance. There is no end in sight for this existing spill yet there are cry's for more drilling. We must be insane.
June 25 2010 at 10:52 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyWe have 3 type of oil. There was thousands of gallon of diesel fuel and oil on the platform that burned. It floats and takes for ever to degrade and that is what we first saw. Much of crude oil is sinking and will degrade in months not years. Some floats and part will evaporate. If we burn it it becomes a tar ball and floats ashore.

DON'T **** WHERE YOU EAT!
This is a tragic lesson still unfolding.
Obama was the biggest recepient of campaign money from BP. Maybe that is why his administration allowed them to cut corners and drill without environmental studies
being done.
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Its sand is almost as white as snow. We must get this oil spew stopped.
