Gunasekar told the group, most of them academic and government scientists, that he and his colleagues focused on "subtle environmental issues that our soldiers face." Troops caught in sandstorms may inhale toxic particles, which can be carried to the brain, lungs and other organs. "Once they return...they complain about respiratory problems and also they complain about some of the cognitive functions," he said. GOP's mad at Michael Steele
because of his negative spiel.
We can't win Afghan war
which Bush started before,
you are not allowed to free-wheel
How about they are overwhelmingly disgusted and depressed by having been a pawn in this absurd this "war".

Could it be something in the vaccines that is causing this, and they are trying to blame it on the sand? Also what are the chemtrails that they are spewing out of airplanes all across America and other countries in the world???? The military is using our soldiers for guinea pigs and testing out stuff on them as in the past wars that have been fought, and the young men and their families have no idea what is going on.

It's the sand. Toxic sand causes damage to nervous system. The Taliban Al-qaeda and other terroriost are mentally unstable - now we know why.
Is there medical evidence that the native population (by native, I mean those born there - PC police, go away) is suffering from any of these neuropathic deficits?

June 27 2010 at 4:32 PM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplyThis is all I'll say on this topic of our troops over in Afghanistan -- bring our people home and out of harm's way.
The money used for these war efforts can be put to better use right here back at home. Take the money now and use it to help create jobs for the millions of jobless. Help people from disasters in our Country. Help ourselves and bring this country back to it's glory. This way too Washington doesn't have to raise taxes more, stop Unemployment and don't use Social Security money to lessen the deficit. Do what is right for the people of this country. Stop the greed and stop the financial bleeding of its middle class. You'll keep our troops safe and to help protect this country. Do you see any other countries coming to our aid when tragedy strikes us? No you don't. It's time we helped the people in the good old USA. We're a great country and all these others are just very jealous of us. Always have and always will. We should be the leader of this old tired world, not the other way around.
