Conservatives poisoning the airwaves?? I can remember nothing as vitriolic as Al Gore's SCREAMING CHARGE that "Bush lied to the American People!"
Josef Goebbels had it right... "Don't just tell a Lie. Tell a Big Lie. And, tell it over and over again." I'm sure Saul Alinski would agree.
Bush DID lie to the American people. Have you forgotten the WMD claims?
July 09 2010 at 11:41 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIt's no wonder the ratings of MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN has about hit bottom. The American people have voted with their remotes and the left cannot stand it! They have not learned to just give us both sides and we will decide what is truth and what isn't!

The American people watch the major network newscasts far more than any cable channel, including Fox. Smarter American people get their news from newspapers and online and don't rely on Fox to give them their distorted version. Not everything has two sides. Fox tends to deny facts (global climate change, etc.) and give nothing but extremely biased opinion.

I have never heard so much hatred from us before.Politics used to get people riled up, nowadays it seems to make people want to overthrow and destroy our own country based on the words of people who have sacrificed very little for us, not public servants or anything like that.
They have contracts to getthe ratings at all costs and they seem not to mind that people think they actually know much more than they possibly can being onthe outside.
We have to stop hating if we are to continue to grow.
And I'd like to discuss my concerns about left-wing hosts like Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, etc. Have you ever listened to Randi Rhodes or old Al Franken on the radio? Now there is some vitriolic speech. I certainly don't always agree with or like the things the right wing people mentioned say, but they do provide a needed alternative to the 90% plus Democrats who make up the core of the broadcast crews of CNN/NBC/CBS/ABC and MSNBC. I guess if you don't agree with their views, it's okay to call them hate radio. I think you can't stand the fact that your monopoly of the press, TV and radio got broken up. By the way, if Bush was President when the Gulf Oil Spill occurred, do you think he would get off as easily as our "impartial press" has let Obama off the hook? Or would the "BP Oil Spill"(nice labeling) be called the "Bush Oil Spill". You would have had Bush impeached by now.
July 09 2010 at 11:59 AM Report abuse Permalink +22 rate up rate down ReplyPresident Bush lifted the ban on ultra deep water drilling in 2004, allowing the drilling that has caused this spill. President Obama has been blamed by rightwingers since the beginning, despite it not being his fault. Rightwing pundits have lied about his response, including false claims about the Jones Act, which has NOTHING to do with clean-up. If you can't understand why so much rightwing talk is labeled "hate radio," you must have missed Rush Limbaugh's tirade about how poor children should search through dumpsters for food.
July 09 2010 at 11:50 PM Report abuse Permalink -2 rate up rate down ReplyTo really have a fair and balanced discussion, they must include NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, Maddow, Olberman, Matthews, Arian Huffington. If not, what is the point?
July 09 2010 at 11:36 AM Report abuse Permalink -5 rate up rate down ReplyThe point is that no matter what a liberal says, they believe that the end justifies the means. This liberal spin doctor would NEVER view any of those hate-filled liberal shills as part of the problem.
