Illegal Immigrant List Making the Rounds in Utah

There are tens of thousands of migrant workers who are "brokered" by Utah farmers and are picked up in Mexico and bussed into Utah to work on Utah farms. These migants come into Utah under a special VISA and are legal workers. Also, Utah farms COULD NOT EXIST without these migrant workers who they pay about $7,500 each per year. Many are husband and wife teams who bring their families along. With a family income below $15,000, many qualify for Aid for Dependent Children, the School Lunch Program, and Food Stamps. These "social welfare" payments are basically supplemental aid to Utah's farmers because, without these supplements, the farms would have to pay higher wages to attract workers.

odd..All legal and illegal immigrants are encourage to retain and celebrate there heritage and to protect there culture..but when the anglo american attemps to do the same thing..then we are deemed racist and bigots..Don't quite understand..

A guy moves into the house next to mine and I see his "Wanted" poster in the Post Office. Then I report him without stating my name. Will there be an investigation to identify me??? I just don't undestand the attempt to expose the person or group that made up the list unless it is to appease the Hispanic community. I can see the Justice Department getting involved in this one.

I am a liberal but I agree that the flood gates into this country need to be closed. Everyone wanting to come here needs to be processed properly. We desparately need to breath life back into our country and restore our jobs which will bring peace of mind. It is like when your on a plane and the flight attendant tells you that when the air masks drop due to a change in cabin pressure the adults/capable should put theirs on first then assist children or those not capable around them. We need to restore our prosperity so we can help the third world countries/less fortunate. Stop outsourcing our jobs.

this is something new...illegals have been here for years. It has only become
a thorn in our side now because americans are now wanting those low paying jobs
for themselves. No one wanted them before. How many of you really wanted to
be a dishwasher in a restaurant? or work for a landscaper mowing lawns and pulling weeds? Something definitely needs to be done but I not like the hateful
mob rule mentality that some of you have.

Somebody did Utah and the rest of the country a service. Those SSN's don't match the name or they wouldn't have been listed. The "snitch" is no doubt a legal citizen or entity. We have police chiefs in sanctuary towns who say, in essence, "We need more illegals in order to have more snitches." (Illogical, but that's their reasoning. They ignore the fact if the illegals weren't here they woudn't do the crime.) It's strange that when the snitch is a legal citizen the gov't goes after them. Go figure.

Citizenship is given to anyone born here of parents who are not under US jurisdiction. That is a mistaken application of the 14th Amendment which was meant to apply ONLY to the children of former slaves after the Civil War. We need to stop doing that.

The Fourteenth Amendment (Amendment XIV) to the United States Constitution was adopted after the Civil War as one of the Reconstruction Amendments on July 9, 1868.

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Perhaps no amendment has been twisted and turned as much as this one. The “birthright citizenship” clause was originally meant to ensure that children of freed slaves would be American citizens. Of course, we don’t have that problem anymore, so here’s the 21st Century revision:

“All persons who successfully sneak into the country will be allowed to stay indefinitely. All crimes committed by those lawbreakers (i.e., identity theft, fraud, and tax evasion) shall be ignored. These non-American Americans will be afforded free health care at emergency rooms, free education, and special in-state tuition deals at colleges, not afforded legal citizens. All children born of these lawbreakers shall immediately become citizens of the United States. Any persons attempting to thwart this revision of Section 1 will be labeled racists, hatemonger, xenophobes, and all-around bad people. " GB

Secure the border. Send the illegals back. Nat'l ID. E-verify or no hires. No tax credits for non-citizen workers.
