Glenn Beck Tells Audience He Might Be Going Blind

His problem is a corneal dystrophy (the front of the eye) which rarely leads to blindness or the need for a corneal transplant. In severe cases of corneal dystrophy a corneal transplant is almost certain to restore sight in one or both eyes. In any case going blind from this condition is extremely rare. It would mean two completely failed corneal transplants occurred. He might have a great doctor to make the diagnosis, but he as somehow has the facts wrong or is embellishing them for effect. Ok for him but don't scare the other poor patients with this condition with mis-information. Do not confuse this with macular degeneration (back of the eye).

Wishing him no ill, but he is conceptually blind already.

Add in Rick Warren, and I guess you could say, "God" works in mysterious ways.

Doesn't it say somewhere in your bible, that charlatans will be exposed at some point in time, and that this was to mark a coming event?

I am sorry to hear about this. For so many of you who 'spit out your liberal talking points & spin' about Glenn...I would suggest that you take about 2 weeks of your life, and watch his TV program regularly...really listen to what he is saying. I can tell most of you have only heard 'sound bites'...never really watched him. Stop smearing him and realize his passion for restoring this country BACK to its original intent from the Constitution, etc. and to stop this slow move to European socialism is genuine(now quick move). And for you liberals out there...wake up...he faults both Dems & Repubs. His research team is unbelievable!If only our mainstream media could do half as well, we wouldn't be in this mess. If just one thing he reports is true, then we're in deep double. and, I'm afraid, he's hitting the nail on almost everything he uncovers. And to berate him because he speaks of God? Well, again, he GETS IT. That could be the one thing that is most accurate with what he has figured out. Our country needs to get back to God. Bless you, Glenn Beck!! You are making a difference and it's scaring the progressives to death!

Do not compare Sarah Palin to Glenn Beck. She would never do something like this. She has credibility, while he does not. Her patriotism is genuine, as demonstrated by her son in Iraq. Beck's patriotism is fake. While Sarah's speeches are indeed a bit awkward, at least they are real. Beck uses "pregnant pauses" and ministerial preaching to appear as if he's serious -- when he's not. Comparing Palin to Beck is like comparing Obama to JFK -- no comparison!

Did not see my first comment posted.Here we go again completely in compliance with civilogue.The hatred spewing from some submitters is frightening. This is America and we have Freedom of Speech so why cant we be civil even when we disagree with our fellow men and women. My fear is that politics is becoming inundated with inducing fear, hatred and distrust amongst us.Lets pray that we resist this malicious ploy and think for ourselves and react in a civil manner .Civilogue should include editing raw hatred in submissions.

Of course it is tragic if anyone goes blind or has a degenerative problem such as Glenn Beck says he does. Beck is also known to fabricate and be overly dramatic. I will take him at his word, but it seems he used is eye disease as another reason to bash the health care that was passed. Umm, he says that he is glad he found out now while he can still get the best care available. What a crock! He made over 30 million dollars last year and on top of that I am sure he is insured by Fox with a pretty good health plan. He will get the best care available, no matter what is going on with the new regulations.
