Obamas Will Vacation on Martha's Vineyard, White House Confirms

Their vacations are much too lavish, regardless of whether they pay for the outtings and vacations out their personal funds. Less is always better, it seems as the First Lady and the President are always overdressed. Now is a perfect time to show restraint and elegance.
They wouldn't be able to afford these type of vacations if they were not the First Family. They have not stopped, it began with Date Night in Manhattan at great expense.Do the First Lady and the President have to get all the expensive vacations on their wish list come true/checked off before Obama's term is over? Must be nice, Martha's Vinyard this month, didn't they just go to Hawaii? I work two jobs seven days a week, can't even take a day off for fear I might lose my home or the cars, not to mention feeding my two children. They should be in Washington working for the American people for a change.

the Obama family should go to the Gulf Coast for their vacation.
The staff could stay at the Pensacola Naval Air Station for a fraction of what a hotel on Martha's Vineyard would cost. and the Press could fill every hotel room and restaurant in Pensacola. what better message for the president and his family to convey to the gulf coast?

After hearing all these ridiculous comments, I can understand why the man needs a vacation.

Isn't it funny the Obama family can go on vacation in many upper crust areas at the drop of a hat, yet could not muster time in the Gulf area until the public voiced very strong negative opinions about them NOT going. For a man who says the polls and opinion do not affect him one way or the other, he certainly plays the game by them.

Why does the president go to where the wealthy and elite go for vacations? Why not go some place more middle class, such as Branson, MO or the Wisconsin Dells?

It would be a nice jesture for the president to vacation in the gulf with his family, and help clean the beaches. it would do alot for his ratings.

Thats pretty much all he does. How much vacation is ENOUGH?
He needs to take advantage while he can. He is a one term president.
Smoking up a storm while his wife is telling everyone to eat whats good for you and to not keep it so cold in your home to save eletric.
