The prez is back from his high flying New York adventures on Thursday, July 29. In the morning, he'll give a "major address on education," then put his John Hancock on a Tribal Law and Order Act in the late afternoon. Here's what's on tap:

10:05 a.m. -- The president delivers a major education reform speech at the National Urban League 100th Anniversary Convention in the Washington Convention Center. Serious VIPs in attendance, including: Vice President Biden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, National Security Adviser Gen. James Jones, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, CIA Director Leon Panetta, USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah, Deputy Secretary of State (and future OMB director) Jack Lew, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Michael Mullen, Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke and -- via videoconference -- Gen. David Petraeus.

11:10 a.m.-- Obama attends his monthly meeting with his national security team on Afghanistan and Pakistan (expect continued discussion of Wikileaks).

12:35 p.m. -- The president and vice president have lunch in the private dining room (smart money is back on gazpacho).

1:45 p.m. -- Obama receives the presidential daily briefing in the Oval Office.

2:00 p.m. -- Briefing by Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

4:50 p.m. -- Signs the Tribal Law and Order Act in the East Room.

7:05 p.m. -- Attends a DNC finance event at a private residence. Word on the street is that this is the home of Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.)
