What a week at the White House. A prime-time address from the Oval Office -- only the second of Barack Obama's presidency -- on the implications of the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq. Twenty-four hours later, that event is followed by the start of high-stakes, high-profile Mideast peace talks between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. And, by the end of week, the president is confronted by another slate of poor employment numbers -- as restive Democrats begin to echo Republican critics in fretting that the administration is not putting enough oomph into addressing America's stubborn economic woes. Carl M. Cannon, filling in for Melinda Henneberger, discusses these issues on Politics Daily's weekly online talk show with Jill Lawrence, Sarah Wildman, Bonnie Erbé, and Matt Lewis. Come join us.
