When will the other ninty percent of Americans open their eyes to the facts and admit that tax cuts for the rich and buisiness subsidies for corporations making billions of dollars in profits while laying off American workers are not where our tax dollars should go! Republicans cannot lay the blame for this economic downturn on president Obama, if fiscal irresponsibility belongs to any political party, it is certainly owned by Republicans.

They passed a stimulus package only half as big as was needed. At the same time, the public failed to give them a fillibuster proof Senate. So criticizing the Democrats for not being is control is illogical. Going back to a Republican Congress that does nothing is also illogical. Why can't the media do a more responsible job of reporting. The two sides are NOT equal, so quit treating them that way in the interest of "fairness."

By contrast, party officials in Washington can’t identify a single House member who’s running an ad boasting of a “yes” vote — despite the fact that 219 House Democrats voted in favor of final passage in March. Looks like they taking your advice,matt.........forward this to a certain colleague on pd and say GQB told her so

September 06 2010 at 1:30 PM Report abuse Permalink -17 rate up rate down ReplyMost of the states near bankruptcy haven't had a Republican governor for decades if ever! So when it comes down to what is best for the people, who would YOU turn to? Republicans understand that small business owners (those YOU call “the rich”) are the people who create jobs for most workers. I say – give these people a Tax Break and let them hire more worker!

I wonder why they are not bragging in their reelection ads? Instead, the Republicans are reminding the voters of their democrat congressman's vote....lol...what a twist.
