West Virginia businessman and GOP nominee for U.S. Senate John Raese may have just gotten some new fodder.
Raese, who trails West Virginia Gov Joe Manchin by only 6 points in the latest Rasmussen survey, is already on the air with a two-week, statewide ad buy, telling voters that, "Joe Manchin has been supporting Barack Obama's liberal agenda for years. Manchin supports Obama's government-run health care."
Now, a video from 2009 has surfaced on the conservative blog, West Virginia Red, which shows Manchin saying, "I am totally behind health care reform."
As of June 28, President Obama had a 35 percent approval rating in the state.
How much do you want to bet that line ends up in a Raese TV ad?
