White House Correspondent
The prez is pulling a 12-hour workday on Thursday, September 16: It's filled with all sorts of presidential protocol, including swearing-in ceremonies, initiative announcements, fundraising and speeches. Makes you almost tired just thinking about it. Here's what's on tap:
9:45 a.m -- The president delivers remarks at the President's Export Council meeting in the East Room. Expect mention of plans to meet Obama's
stated goal of doubling U.S. exports in five years to create jobs and strengthen the domestic economy.
10:15 a.m. -- The president and vice president receive the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

12:45 p.m. -- The president participates in an Ambassador Credentialing Ceremony in the Oval Office. According to the White House, the presentation of credentials marks the formal beginning of an ambassador's service in Washington. Scheduled are ambassadors from Denmark, Namibia, Tanzania, Moldova, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Malawi, Haiti, Indonesia and Jordan
2:30 p.m. -- Meets with Senator Menendez and Representatives Velazquez and Gutierrez in the Oval Office.

According to the White House, the initiative aims to improve science, technology, engineering, and math education in order to better prepare students to lead in the 21st century economy. Obama will be joined by leaders from the worlds of science, technology, engineering, and math.

6:15 p.m. -- Delivers remarks at an event for Connecticut Attorney General Blumenthal at the Stamford Marriot Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut.
7:45 p.m. -- Attends an event for the DNC at a "private residence." Few details on where, who and how much, but if the president's
August fundraising efforts are any measure, this one will likely pull in some solid dough for the DNC.

10:35 p.m. -- Arrives at Andrews Air Force Base.
