Jimmy Carter, Still Trashing Ted Kennedy, and Can Conservative Women 'Play the Gender Card'?

As Charles Caleb Colton said. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Desperation leads to imitation but most of us are not fooled with the likes of Mrs. Palin, and Ms O'Donnell. If our president was a lily-white, white man conservatives would still be running old white men.

Certainly Alex Wagner has the credentials to recognize "victimization," and the experience to determine whether it is a true or false portrait of what is taking place.

Jimmy Carter should remember the Christian requirement to show charity in thought, word, and deed. Speaking cruelly of a dead man is particularly nasty, and he should be ashamed of himself for doing it. As for conservative feminists, well...feminists should be ashamed that they have become so weak that even conservatives can appropriate the word "feminist," and few people see how awful that is. With the socially conservative views the Teabaggers hold, it shouldn't be possible for a right-winger to call herself a feminist without TRUE feminists howling--but not a word comes from the Old Guard. Perhaps feminism really is dead. Damn.
