On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh listed his "Top 10 Moderate Moments" -- a list he first introduced on Nov. 3, 2009.

According to Limbaugh, these are the "moderate moments" to remember:
10: "Newt Gingrich doing a PSA on global warming with Nancy Pelosi in 2008."

9. "Bush-Quayle '92."

8. "Dole-Kemp '96."

7. "Ford-Dole '76. Do you see a pattern here?"

6. "Jumpin' Jim Jeffords jumps from the Republican Party."

5. "Arlen Specter switches parties."

4. "Richard Nixon resigns in disgrace."

3. "Dede Scozzafava endorses the Democrat, Owens, in New York 23."

2. The McCain campaign of 2008.

1. "And -- dadelut dadelut dadelut dadelut dadelut -- No. 1 top 10 moderate moment in Republican history: Colin Powell endorsing Barack Obama, the Democrat, for president in 2008."

... Powell, of course, appeared on "Meet the Press" on Sunday, defending President Obama from "fringe" Republican attacks.

Our New Approach to Comments

In an effort to encourage the same level of civil dialogue among Politics Daily’s readers that we expect of our writers – a “civilogue,” to use the term coined by PD’s Jeffrey Weiss – we are requiring commenters to use their AOL or AIM screen names to submit a comment, and we are reading all comments before publishing them. Personal attacks (on writers, other readers, Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush, or anyone at all) and comments that are not productive additions to the conversation will not be published, period, to make room for a discussion among those with ideas to kick around. Please read our Help and Feedback section for more info.

Yawn. I thought it was going to be pointless when I read the title of the article, and there it is -- pointless. I just can't listen to these pundits anymore or take them seriously. They are so entrenched in their side it really doesn't seem worth talking to, compromising with, or acknowledging them anymore. Can we get some articles that are based on news and facts again? Seriously a non-introspective statement based on non-critical thinking by Rush. Who cares. He has nothing to add to society or the conversation.

Mr. Limbaugh who said that he wanted the President to fail has no credibility. Even extreme right wing folks are looking to others to carry their banner. Limbaugh has become bloated with his media celebrity, far too much wealth and other excesses.

What is most amusing about this list is Rush's overestimation of his intelligence in even approaching analysis of information to complete the activity necessary to come up with a conclusion about anything.
