Ugh! I don't think that this is indicative of the average soldier's brain, but that of 2 very out of touch liberals, trying very hard to mask an agenda. Did you know that it's OK to support our troops & still hate war? I feel that this is terribly subjective & misogynist, as not every soldier is a MAN! This 'toon reeks of FAIL! I love all of our troops, male or female, & hope that they can come home soon to not just their "girlfriends" but boyfriends, wives, husbands, children & pets. Please do anything you possibly can to support our troops, whether or not you support or despise the war.

What difference does it make what religion the President practices? Outside of JFK, who was famously (or infamously) Roman Catholic, how many people know what specific religion was practiced by any former President?

Oh, please, tell me how they have sacrificed so much. Here we are in this country with unemployment at its highest in decades and Michelle and only one daughter go to Spain for a vacation that takes 70 rooms up in one hotel just for them and staff! She started the term out in J Crew clothes and both now wear $1000+ outfits to garden in for goodness sake! I wish I could sacrifice like that! Come on, live on a budget like the rest of us and set an example. Show Congress how it works, and learn to do it yourself and get us out of this mess! Quit worrying about what everybody thinks your religion is. If you are a Christian, live like one and be responsible. Quit spending money that you don't have and that isn't yours anyway. Lets all man up and be responsible for ourselves and stop being so ugly to each other. You know I am right. Spending is way out of control, from the top down, I don't care what party or religion you are. Grow up, tighten your belt and do without until you can afford it on your own nickel. Then maybe this country can stop being so divided on everything and work together. Just a thought, how about we try it?

I am on my third tour of duty and I think this is absolutely hysterical. With the exception of the gay schmay part. Nobody gives a damn if homosexuals want to serve or not. Other than that, it is spot on and I can tell you right now, every single day I wake up, I ask myself, "Do I feel lucky?" Later on patrol, I will question whether something is an ied, grenade, sniper, movement in the hills and so on. I think trussel missed, good food though. I miss good food every time I eat this garbage. Great comic, I needed a good laugh.

Have you been in the service? Which branch? I was a marine and your little cartoon is and insult to usmc. Until you put on the uniform do suggest you know what anyone in the service thinks. If you want don't ask don't tell repealed say so. Do not say what the people who serve think because you do not have any idea what they think. If you want to know what they think ASK THEM.

You forgot the most important section. "How many days left in this hellhole before I go home".
