Just another fund to make sure our teens are paid to have more and more children they cannot afford to have...just another way to suck them into loving cradle to grave government welfare while they are still young! This will not stop one single abortion, but it WILL induce more teenagers to get pregnant over and over in order to get more from the government!
October 01 2010 at 2:40 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIdk about you but I'm 18 with a 2 year old and I'm pretty sure we dont just get pregnant so we can take the tax payers money most of us actually work to raise our children and theres more older people in the Social Service office's then there are young women and men. Maybe you should actually research into what your saying.

October 01 2010 at 2:40 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyGive free everything to teen pregnancies. Give free everything to illegals. Give free everything to countries around the world. I am a 76 year old widow that is forced to live on frozen Social Security of $767.00 a month. My husband and I both worked. WE paid to raise our children. WE paid for family health care. We paid our house payments. We paid our taxes. We were married for 53 years. Now that I have lost him, I GET NOTHING FREE FROM ANYBODY FOR ANYTHING. Why are we seniors being left to fend for ourselves? We are the generation that built this country and are now forgotten about needing help.
September 30 2010 at 7:49 PM Report abuse Permalink +6 rate up rate down ReplyHow about rewarding teens who don't get pregnant? We have to stop rewarding bad behavior.

September 29 2010 at 7:47 PM Report abuse Permalink +3 rate up rate down Reply.....having unprotected sex, deciding on abortions are PERSONAL CHOICES. Once again, the taxpayer has someone's hands in their pockets to benefit irresponsible people. This stinks. I don't want tax money to go for people who cannot take responsibility for their personal choices.
September 29 2010 at 6:44 PM Report abuse Permalink +18 rate up rate down ReplyWell cutie, I could say i don't want my taxes going to pay for your house if it is burning, if you were careless. Ya'll want to pick and chose what you want your $$ to go for...we have to work together, educate people, and stop being so selfish all the time.
September 29 2010 at 6:49 PM Report abuse Permalink -1 rate up rate down Replypttypinkleym, selfish? It is selfish to think you are owed someone else's money! It is selfish to have children you cannot afford to raise! It is selfish to get pregnant when you should be educating yourself so that you can support yourself so you do not HAVE to ask the government to put their hand back into your neighbors wallet! BTW, I don't want you money to pay for my house should it accidently be burned down either! That is why I pay for my own insurance! YES...I want to pick and chose what our tax dollars pay for...we CANNOT afford to pay for everyone who refuses to take care of themselves...it is obvious that increasing welfare just makes welfare look more desirable to those who are willing to settle for government handouts! NOT ONE DIME for those who are capable of taking care of themselves but chose to make poor life choices...THAT will encourage MORE responsibility and fewer teen pregnancies!
October 01 2010 at 2:49 AM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplyThis sounds like it is already part of the welfare program. More money for those having children that can not even afford to take care of themselves.Instead of trying to find a way to help prevent the problem it sounds like they encourage teenage pregnancy.
September 29 2010 at 6:11 PM Report abuse Permalink +11 rate up rate down ReplySo a teenager gets pregnant and it's, free this and free that. What a country! This country has gone insane. I say, let her parents deal with their own mistakes in their childs upbringing.
September 29 2010 at 5:49 PM Report abuse Permalink +13 rate up rate down ReplyMike, if the girl is under 18, her parents AND the father or the fathers parents should be held responsible for the bills of the child. If she is over 18, she and the father should be held responsible. There is simply no way for us to afford to support the number of children being born to teens today. When this was a rare occurance, support was reasonable. Today having multiple children that you know you cannot suppport is fine, because these parents know they only need to hold their hand out and the government will fill it to overflowing!
October 01 2010 at 3:08 AM Report abuse Permalink -1 rate up rate down Replywhy not her parents? why should we have to pay for it let her parents pay and make his parents pay for it too! they are the ones that made the baby they should be made to pay for it does that not make sense to you Mike?
October 01 2010 at 7:50 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplySPEND SPEND SPEND, Will it ever stop. Never seen a bunch that consistantly rewards bad behavior.
September 29 2010 at 3:59 PM Report abuse Permalink +11 rate up rate down ReplyAnd you were the perfect child?
September 29 2010 at 4:54 PM Report abuse Permalink -8 rate up rate down Replytlcmovestorage, what does being the perfect child have to do with anything? No child is perfect, but that does not mean that taxpayers should be held responsible for supporting a child for at least 18 years just because a teenage girls gets pregnant! Back when this was a rare occurance it may have made sense to help them out...today there are so many teenage mothers that our programs are going bankrupt and taxpayers are on the hook for thousands of BILLIONS every year supporting these children...and they just keep having MORE in order to get MORE government money!
October 01 2010 at 3:12 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhere do we keep getting all this money ? On TV a few monthes back Obama said america was beyond broke. So why does he keep spending?
September 29 2010 at 3:52 PM Report abuse Permalink +15 rate up rate down ReplyChuck, why on earth should those who ALREADY pay 80% of all taxes be held responsible to support the children of irresponsible young teens? Certainly they should be held responsible for their OWN teens, but today there are so many teenagers having babies it is impossible and irresponsible for our government to continue to encourage this behavior by continuing to support these teens! The girl, the father and both sets of parents can pay whatever is needed. Then we will see a massive reduction in teen pregnancies!
October 01 2010 at 3:16 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyGee, great idea. Let's encourage unwed teen mothers to have babies when they are still babies themselves.
September 29 2010 at 2:45 PM Report abuse Permalink +22 rate up rate down ReplyA mans perspective??? Let me guess, your single with no children.
September 29 2010 at 4:56 PM Report abuse Permalink -9 rate up rate down ReplyWho said I was a man with no children? I am not. And I do not believe in offering rewards to children to have children. An neither should you.
