Take the congressional race between Sean Duffy (R) and Julie Lassa (D): Lassa's commercial quoted Duffy, who said "I can't create jobs" (Negative, but not fear-mongering). Duffy's commercial extended the quote, saying "I can't create jobs; private enterprise creates jobs" (Also negative, but again, not fear-mongering). Of course, only Duffy's commercial ruined the moment by adding "[My opponent] deceives you" (Negative fear-mongering). Needless to say, I'll be voting for the random third party that scarcely puts a single ad on the air...

And to remember Bernard Shaw and all other victims by CNN.
