Sharron Angle, a one-time member of the Nevada State Assembly, is seeking to topple U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in a much-watched race. As displeasure with the Obama administration mounts from the tea party ranks, Reid has become one of the GOP's principal targets, and Angle has emerged from relative obscurity to national attention.
