Soros, 80, said he hoped his money would be used "in an effort to more widely publicize the challenge Fox News poses to civil and informed discourse in our democracy."
Earlier this month, Soros told the Times he wasn't supporting Democratic candidates this election season because he is predicting big gains by Republicans.
"I don't believe in standing in the way of an avalanche," the financier said.
And Fox news is more popular than all the others combined. And Americans decide for them selves what to watch. How is it that Soros finds it necessary to prop up the liberal outlets? Maybe because their failing liberal slant isn't swallowed by anyone except the dependent class.

The only reason Obama talk about forgien contributions was to demonize business. Rules for raticals tell you not to argue issues but to demonize. Soro has funded this for years, he is a socialist he has to try and demonize fox news. They are the only one that does support the socialist agenda of the present adminstration.

Please give me a break. Soros is an AMERICAN using his money for an American organization. And he made it public. I dare the Chamber of Commerce to do the same about the foreign governments and corporations giving millions to them to pass on to conservative candidates.

Soros does have some good intentions, but he is more political than most politicians! He recently contributed millions to other political organizations, his interest is for big $$ and not much more.

October 20 2010 at 7:42 PM Report abuse Permalink -22 rate up rate down ReplyWell said, JJ! And the fact that four of the potential Republican candidates are contributors to his "news" network kind of makes it a conflict of interest, does it not? Ethics mean nothing to the right-wing.
