Click here to visit the new home of Politics Daily!I predict the urge to stay home on Election Day 2010 will be powerful. Easier to shrug and say: I tried. In 2008, I tried to make a difference. And where did that get us?If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer. It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference. It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled -- Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America.
What better time than now to push for term limits?

I am SHOCKED however that many of these tea party republican radicals have so muddied the waters that a lot of people have NO IDEA what is going on in this country anymore. It is very sad because just a few people are throwing some BIG tantrums and literally SCARING un and under educated people into thinking that our President is some sort of criminal. This country has not SEEN anger yet. If any of these radical fringe candidates for some reason actually get elected they will IMMEdIATELY be under a serious microscope from MOMENT ONE, and will be attacked NON STOP every day by their opposition. Unfortunately, Sarah Palin has opened a HUGE Pandora's Box in this country, and basically has said it is OK to use "second amendment remedies" if you don;t like Government......ooops, that was radical tea prty fringe candidate Sharron Angle. What that MEANS, and what they REALLY SAID, is that people should get their GUNS OUT to solve the problem. THESE are the types of people that some think should replace seasoned experienced Representatives and Senators? I DON'T THINK SO. So, PLEASE.....VOTE FOR SOMEONE. And PLEASE, read read read.....do not just listen to Fox, watch several different channels so you can get a TRUE pulse on the TRUTH, not just right leaning smut that Fox calls news. Thanks and have a nice day.

To us it appeared we were voting for the "one who was lying the least". Watching/reading the campaign ads it's obvious one or both are lying their heads off because they are saying/denying the same things. The "news" sources are no better. They each have a slant of their own and it's obvious. Our "newspaper" ran a full length column yesterday on the front page for one of the candidates. Oh there was a picture of both, but the story was devoted to just one. If I had not already voted for the other candidate, that would have sold me. Our "newspaper" is good to line the bird's cage. And, therein lies a good portion of the problems we have today.

Bush caused this mess and it took him eight years to destroy what Bill Clinton built up.Failed Bush policies and a CATASTROPHIC war that he lied to the American people to start and should be tried as a war criminal caused this " worst economy". Take care America when you go to the polls today, remember what bush caused,do you really want to go back to that?
November 02 2010 at 9:46 AM Report abuse Permalink -3 rate up rate down ReplyClinton pet in everyone should own a house. They should get the loans even if they could not afford them. Econmy boom under clinton was the cause of the problems of today. Bush did not help he expanded govewrnment. But when he wanted to investage Fannie abd Freddie it was the democrats that said there was no reason they were doing fine. Obama had his chance top make change that would help. He decided to push healthcare and other social agenda rather then work on the problem. Unfortunely there is blame to go around to all.

At that point, the racism became apparent, and I didn't read any further. Yes, go out of vote, this and the next election, will be the most important in U.S. history. No more important election has happened, since just before the civil war, when Lincoln was elected, and the country plunged into civil war. It was the Republicans who fought that war and freed the slaves. It was the Democrats who were enslaving the blacks. Over the years, the Democrats have done a great job of making it look like, the Republicans are the bad guys regarding racism. What an irony. Today, the racists are the Democrats. Today, we have a black/white President, who apparently harbors those same opinions. Well, the Republican believes in equality for all, under The Constitution, so quit accusing us of being the racists. Look in the mirror and ponder. Now go out and vote.

When you compare you need to read history first. Hitler called the jews the enemy, was that what tea party called any one or was that what Obama call a group of people. Let me try to make this clear niether are hitler. And the sign are a lot better than hanging dolls of bush and all the hatefull sign that liberal had about that president. Now you want to cry because people are putting up sign that are not near as bad about Obama. What ever you are smoking must be good.

The fact that the media and entertainment elites embrace the left-wing does not mean that they are any less extremist...
