Our New Approach to Comments

In an effort to encourage the same level of civil dialogue among Politics Daily’s readers that we expect of our writers – a “civilogue,” to use the term coined by PD’s Jeffrey Weiss – we are requiring commenters to use their AOL or AIM screen names to submit a comment, and we are reading all comments before publishing them. Personal attacks (on writers, other readers, Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush, or anyone at all) and comments that are not productive additions to the conversation will not be published, period, to make room for a discussion among those with ideas to kick around. Please read our Help and Feedback section for more info.

Most people probably missed the joke in this cartoon! The arrow with the "Polls" sign on it used to read CLIFF until some joker repainted it!!!! :-) Have a nice day.

If the American voting public puts the Republican Party in charge of this country, there will be a return to the failed policies of CAN'T and NO and will severely damage our ability to complete the Recession that was created during a Republican Administration. The Party of NO has not shown any new direction, any new thinking, any forward moving policies. The only good thing possible with the Republicans in charge of at least the House, is that in 2012 we have the BIG opportunity of throwing the pirate carpet baggers overboard and return the ship of state control to the Democrats. This time the Republican need to be returned to a permanent minority.
