Newt Gingrich Tells Obama: Take a Month Off and 'Walk on the Beach'
"He's had his first really big decisive defeat. I think it'll be really healthy for him if he could take off from Thanksgiving through most of December and really think . . ." Gingrich told CBN's the "Brody File. "Get away from the daily business and try to reflect on what happened. Why did it happen? What is it that the American people want?"
It is highly unlikely that Obama will take unsolicited advice from the hyper-partisan former House speaker and depart Washington for most of the rest of 2010. But Gingrich made the case that Ronald Reagan, who had a rocky first two years in office, often escaped Washington to ride horses and clear brush at his California ranch. Gingrich calculated that Reagan spent a year or so in accumulated time at his ranch during his two terms. "I think it is very important that the president slow down," he said of Obama.Gingrich said Obama is a "good and decent man," who is doing some things that "are frankly very dangerous. . . I happen to think he's wrong, but I think it's a genuine belief and I think that he loves this country and would like to do the best he can for this country. It's just that his background makes him so academically aloof and so distant from normal reality for everyday people that with the best of intentions he's doing a fair amount of damage."
Gingrich has said he will decide early next year whether to launch his own bid for the presidency in 2012.

The name of the game appears to be to criticize, criticize, criticize. Don't work together in attempts to review/revamp/edit, modify or improve upon, just repeal everything! We are like crabs at the bottom of a totem pole, struggling to make it to the top by pulling everything down in our path. The rest of the world struggles to improve by educating their masses and increasing modern technology. Inevitably, our bigotry, hate, and struggles for individual power and recognition at all cost will cost us all.

As far as Gingrich is concerned whether you like him or hate him this man's brain is like sponge. There isn't a topic or statistic that he isn't well versed in and could debate anybody under the table .

Republicans take Comgress and Senate and in 1996 Bill Clinton rebounds with a convincing electoral college win. Events and happenings change from time to time. It is not that I am an Obama backer I am a Republican.
