LQQK it people, for 2 years we've been seeing or reading about the GOP's road blocks that are being used on the Obama administration, NOT-WITH-STANDING, president Obama's accomplishments in as little as 2 years, HAVE ALREADY SURPASSED what George done in 8 years....thumb me down all you want,BUT YOU CAN'T DENY THE TRUTH CUZ..., THOSE ARE THE FACTS !!!!....; IN ADDITION,HOW MUCH HARM DO YOU REALLY THINK THEIR ROAD-BLOCKS IS HURTING OBAMA?....I will believe they're doing him wrong the moment I hear Obama compalins that he HASN'T GOTTEN A MONTH'S PAYCHECK FOR HIS SERVICES.....Americans, the time is now to tell the nation's fleecers, and to include McConnell and his gang, to stop collecting blood money for NON-PERFORMANCE, AND GO TO WORK !!!!!!. Their sole function is to legislate laws for the good of the nation and our people, ALL ELSE IS BS, AND A RACKET !!!!.
November 20 2010 at 10:20 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe Left is making much about McConnell (I think it was him) saying that a priority of the Mod/Conservatives would be to defeat Obama in 2012, implying that the Right cares nothing about middle America or the economy. When what is happening in America today can be likened to a big bad snake coming your way, what is the first action you take,,,,,,,cut off the tail, or cut off the head? I would go for the head.

They can turn up heat until their backers and political pacs come by to collect. That will drop one big wet blanket on the party, wouldn't it? They didn't spend all that money for nothing. ********************* Elementary my dear Watson... That's the nature of politics in this country at the present time. The Tea Party didn't write the current rule book. They are just trying to change it...
November 19 2010 at 4:40 PM Report abuse Permalink +3 rate up rate down ReplyOnce again the nation's biggest fleecers are in-control. Heaven helps us all for these are the same pathetics to have " pawned" the nation to the Chinese, now we're are expecting them to save us.....Sssshhhhhsssssssss, talk about marinating us all with propagandas of lies and deceits...
November 19 2010 at 9:05 AM Report abuse Permalink +3 rate up rate down ReplyMitch McConnel is one of the biggest hypocrites in politics today. Face it, Kentucky is a welfare state and if it wasnt propped up by federal dollars it would be in worse shape than it is, if that is possible. Kinda hypocritical of the state in general. They cheer on right wing spending and wars but when its infrastructure for the nation then they start worrying about the deficit.
November 19 2010 at 6:25 AM Report abuse Permalink +4 rate up rate down ReplyNo, Alaska is. For every $1.00 of Federal Taxes they pay, they receive $1.83 in Federal money. Of course, in reality, almost every single Red state is a Federal welfare state. It is the Blue states that pay their bills. Even Texas, the Oil company state, receive more in Federal money than they pay in. Want to secede? Go ahead, we could use the tax savings. And we want our federally funded highways back...
November 19 2010 at 8:59 AM Report abuse Permalink +4 rate up rate down ReplyEarmarks used to pay for votes on larger issues. Attached to good bills to waste money for home districts. Have votes on the issues as stand alone items. Harry Ried wants them so he can buy votes. No more turtle bridges
November 18 2010 at 6:30 PM Report abuse Permalink -1 rate up rate down ReplyJohn, it was a turtle fence and it was Republican R. Hoekstra that wanted it. I believe he proposed this amendment just to block a Democratic Bill.
November 18 2010 at 8:23 PM Report abuse Permalink +6 rate up rate down ReplyInteresting, isn't it? How the tea partiers identify with the same Founding Fathers who fought the revolution. Without a standing army. By endebting themselves to France and Spain. Don't get me wrong, I'm no liberal; but neither are the tea partiers conservative enough for my tastes. I'd like to see corporate governments fall under the same scrutiny as our national one, but of course, that would involve rules and regulations (because the corporate criminals on Wall Street are evidently an entirely different species than the political ones in Washington. [And the sarcasm drips...])
November 18 2010 at 5:41 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMitch, like a lot of the "not quite so conservatives" should be a little uncomfortable with his past. A congressman is as a congressman does. Obama might have been the catalyst, but both parties added fuel to the fire.
November 18 2010 at 12:17 PM Report abuse Permalink +14 rate up rate down ReplyCongratulations Tea Party. Turn up the heat!...
November 18 2010 at 12:05 PM Report abuse Permalink +2 rate up rate down ReplySure, Rob & Kathy. They can turn up heat until their backers and political pacs come by to collect. That will drop one big wet blanket on the party, wouldn't it? They didn't spend all that money for nothing.
