In Washington, Sen. Joe Lieberman offered a different perspective. Lieberman, an independent from Connecticut, thinks the Senate should stay in session until the current "Don't ask, don't tell" policy is repealed (the House has already voted to end it). Under the Clinton-era DADT policy, service members are required to keep their sexual orientation private with the understanding that officers will not grill them about their personal lives. There is no reason it should not be initiated in a couple of months. Most moral issues are already written into the Military Code of Ethics and don't need to be changed. McCain needs to retire, he really did nothing for Arizona, I know I lived there 20 years.

And to think, the folks of Arizona gave this guy another six years in the senate. I truly hope you're happy.
