William Daley was also chairman of former Vice President Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign and would come on board as the Obama White House is ramping up for the 2012 re-election campaign.Anyone know what is in the new "food safety bill"? Probably not much about food safety. Food prices will be escalating in addition to the $5 gallon gas we are about to see. 12 months from now you may not recognize the USA. I know that these food safety regulations will not apply to imported foods. Look for some food shortages. Better stock up and and find some good recipes for squirrel, crow, and ground hog.

January 04 2011 at 9:23 AM Report abuse Permalink +7 rate up rate down ReplyYet another Chicago THUG now on the teat of the taxpayer. Al Capone would be proud. Will Daley resurrect the phrase " Vote early and often" made famous by his father? Disgusting bunch.
January 04 2011 at 9:21 AM Report abuse Permalink +16 rate up rate down ReplyAnother Chicago political mobster who is good getting money and selling services. Rahm should have gone to jail and may still for tampering with the PA Senatorial election. He admitted offering Joe Sestak the Dem favorite a job that paid twice as much as Senator if he would drop out of the primary weeks before the election so that Arlen Spector could win the nomination. Sestak not only won the nomination but the election as well, so it was Obama trying to tamper with a Senate electin and deny PA voters the right to choose who is in the Senate. That dwarfs the criminal conduct of the Watergate. We should have a Special Prosecutor for that as the Eric Holder DOJ would not do it. Holder was Clinton's bag man who sold Presidential pardons at the end of the Clinton second term.
January 04 2011 at 9:06 AM Report abuse Permalink +12 rate up rate down ReplyIt is completely stupid to bring in another Chicago guy. He needs a powerful Washington insider, who can start making deals. This will be the death blow for the Obama Presidency. I guess he doesn't really want a second term, just kissing up to the Chicago power elite, to assure a nice retirement.
January 04 2011 at 8:49 AM Report abuse Permalink +11 rate up rate down ReplyWould you expect any other Chicago thug for the white house, Just another crook getting another tax payer job. Odumbo will not put the best person in any job. Just another day of Chicago politics in the white house, Cant wait until 2012,
January 04 2011 at 8:06 AM Report abuse Permalink +15 rate up rate down ReplyAh yes, William Daley, the guy who tried to fix the election in Florida for Al Gore and lost. Not surprised that Obama would want someone of his "shady" caliber to try and save his presidency. Being a "gopher" for Mayor Daley speaks volumes for this guy's character.
January 04 2011 at 7:41 AM Report abuse Permalink +13 rate up rate down ReplyAnother black dude from chicago in the administration. Boy, am I surprised. Seems like obummers life sort of rotates around chicago. I hope they want him back in 2013 after the next elections.
